Call for Entries
The Mercersburg Council for the Arts is seeking entries for a district-wide art show to be displayed at Mercersburg Area Chamber of Commerce's "Mercersburg Townfest" Saturday, September 27, 2008. This is not a juried show.
Theme: “What Mercersburg Means to Me”
All mediums will be accepted.
Who can participate?
Any student grades K-12 who in the Tuscarora School District. Please include name, grade and school with submission. Click here for a student art submission form [PDF].
Any adult who lives in the Tuscarora School District. Please include your name, contact information and title of your piece. Click here for an art submission form [PDF].
Deadline: All pieces must be submitted to MCFA by September 20, 2008. To schedule a drop off, please email mcfainfo@gmail.com or call Allison Zeger at 717-816-7102.
Cost: Free
Disclosures
MCFA will not be responsible for any lost or damaged artwork. All artwork will be returned to the artist at the close of TownFest. MCFA will not accept any lude, degrading or profane artwork.

Moon Dog Pottery Art Camp
Explore pottery, hand building and wheel throwing, painting, sculpture, drawing, mask making, and weaving. For children ages 6 - 15. The children need to wear old clothes and bring a bag lunch, all other supplies are provided.
Where: Moon Dog Pottery - Welsh Run, PA
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $160.00 per 5 day session
